CODE OF CONDUCT FOR EINAR RISØR A/S

Point 1.

Einar Risør A/S shall comply with all relevant legislation at Danish, EU and International level.

Point 2.

Einar Risør A/S shall at any time act honourable and show responsibility and care in the day-to-day running of the company. 

​

Point 3.

Einar Risør A/S may not distort or mislead costumers or suppliers with respect to any condition or claim regarding a product or service.

Point 4.

Einar Risør A/S does not accept illegal logging, manufacturing or sale of illegal wood. Einar Risør A/S are committed to work with their suppliers and other stakeholders for an elimination of the problem.

​Point 5.

Einar Risør A/S must be Chain of Custody certified or otherwise secure full traceability, must support the process of certification and contribute to grow the market for certified timber. Members employ the internationally recognized certification systems FSC® or PEFC™ to document the sustainability of timber.​

​

Certain important countries of origin supply only very limited amounts of certified timber. Einar Risør A/S shall document with alternative documentation.​

​

Point 6.

Einar Risør A/S shall ensure that suppliers are complying with fundamental worker’s rights as described in ILO’s conventions. 

​

Point 7.

Einar Risør A/S will undertake the necessary measures to ensure that all relevant personnel employed by them will be conversant with and abide by the Code of Conduct.

Einar Risør A/S is committed to inform about the Code of Conduct and the complaints procedure on relevant information platforms
